With 30 years of experience in teaching and research, Dr. Binayak Choudhury is a distinguished expert in Regional Planning & Development Analysis, Urban Economics, Municipal Governance & Finance, and Econometrics.
In the MURP program, he teaches a range of courses, including Demography & Economics, Quantitative Techniques, Regional Planning & Development, PPP in Development, and Project Planning & Appraisal. His teaching focuses on equipping students with robust analytical and practical skills essential for urban and regional planning.
Dr. Choudhury’s research underscores the importance of integrating quantitative methods and economic principles into planning processes, fostering a comprehensive understanding of regional dynamics, and promoting sustainable development strategies.
