Dr. Gaurav Vaidya brings a unique blend of 7 years of teaching and research experience, along with 8 years in the industry. His expertise lies in Urban Infrastructure Systems, Urban Sanitation Management, Urban Environment Management, and Urban Poverty Issues. His research focuses on developing sustainable and inclusive strategies to address the multifaceted challenges of urbanization.

In the MURP program, Dr. Vaidya teaches courses such as Infrastructure Planning, Transport Planning, and Planning Challenges for Mega Cities, equipping students with the tools and insights needed to tackle complex urban issues. His teaching integrates theory with practical applications, preparing students to design and implement effective urban planning solutions.

Dr. Vaidya’s work emphasizes the development of sustainable urban infrastructure and innovative management practices aimed at improving living conditions and addressing urban poverty. His research also explores the role of policy frameworks in enhancing the resilience and efficiency of large-scale infrastructure systems.
