well, we built us a band and it's ready...

Southwater evolved like a snowball, starting from a core of inspiration and gathering talented members along its path. 

Over time, the band expanded and contracted, while surviving COVID setbacks and other challenges.  Southwater band has come into its own, from early Southern rock covers and lovable "B" side classics.

In the beginning, I missed playing gigs and was looking for a new project.

I heard Andrea singing at a local charity event and we established the foundation.

I met Joe 'cause he was wearing a 'jazz drummer' logo shirt at the health club.

Jimmy, my close friend's cousin, was recommended when looking for a lead guitarist.

Larry our bassist, was recommended by Jimmy, from years of musical collaboration.
