It is not a requirement to notify Transportation for regular school bus riders. However, parents of Special Needs students should call the Transportation Office at phone number (210) 882-1624 if their student does not ride the bus.
If a student is late arriving to their stop and missed the bus, it is the responsibility of the parent to provide transportation to the campus. Buses must maintain their schedule in order not to interrupt other stops and arrive to the campus on time. Buses cannot go back for students.
If your child’s bus is running late, contact the Transportation Office to find out the status of the bus. All our buses are equipped with GPS to track stop location with times. If our bus was early and your child misses the bus, we will dispatch the bus to return to your stop. If your child was late arriving to the stop, you will be required to take them to school.
The parent/guardian should first contact the school the student is assigned to and inquire if the bus is running late or if for some reason the student missed getting on the bus prior to departure from the school. If the parent/guardian is unable to make contact with the school or the school has already closed for the day, the parent/guardian should contact the Transportation Office for the bus the student is assigned to ride.
No. All of our buses run secondary routes and do not have available space for extra riders. We cannot make exceptions.
Parent/guardian concerns regarding student transportation should be directed to the Transportation Office.
If a student has received a Bus Safety Report/Referral, contact the student’s campus for details.

Students will not be permitted to have “fluctuating schedules”. This means that students will not be permitted to have certain days of the week on which to pick-up or drop-off at one location, and then another location the rest of the week. Fluctuating schedules introduce too much of a risk for safety to the student.
Please contact the student’s respective assigned school for transportation information.
