School Social Work

The Elementary Support Staff have many similarities in each of our roles as we strive to meet our goals of supporting each student and staff member as best as possible. Some services that a Social Worker can provide include; individual counseling sessions with students, being a Home-School-Community Liaison, teaching Social-Emotional-Behavioral lessons with groups and in the classroom, going on home visits, and consulting with others to create any necessary Behavioral Intervention Plans. Each day I look forward to supporting students and staff as we create a safe and fun environment to learn new skills and strategies to gain success in each school day!
