Computational Thinking Using Edison & Python
With the new ADST curriculum and a focus on computational thinking, this session will offer a break down of what computational thinking is, one option of a way to integrate computational thinking into your classroom and resources for other tools and activities. This session will look at python coding and the four stages of computational thinking using the Edison. This is a introductory session to computational thinking appropriate for grades 6-9.

Vancouver Summit April 22-23, 2017 : Google Expeditions & Google Cardboard
Come and hear all about how to take virtual field trips with your classes. This session will introduce you to the locations that are available for you to visit and appropriate curricular areas. See the resources available to the teacher to help guide the field trip. Teachers from Kindergarten to Grade 12 can see what it’s like to take a tour of places you might never get a change to visit in person. Bring your mobile device and give it a try ~ download the app from Google Play or Apple App Store https://edu.google.com/expeditions/#explore!
