Getting Started With Sora

Need some help using the Sora app to access ebooks and audiobooks? This video will help. To access our school's Overdrive Sora account, please go to The Hodgins Library Learning Commons Site and select "Overdrive" from the Discover tab. You can also download the Sora app for your device and search for our school account from there.

Resources to Keep You Reading at Home

Students can instantly stream and listen to an incredible collection of stories, including titles across six different languages. Audible has opened access to hundreds of audiobooks for Juvenile and Young Adult audiences. All stories are free to stream on your desktop, laptop, phone or tablet.



LibriVox volunteers record chapters of books in the public domain, and then they release the audio files back onto the net for free. All their audio is in the public domain, so you may use it for whatever purpose you wish

A library of over 60,000 free eBooks. Project Gutenberg is a collection of books in the public domain, made available for convenient reading on digital devices

Our School's access to our Overdrive Sora account. Sign in using your Southpointe Academy email. This will give you access to thousands of ebooks and audiobooks. Don't see the book you are looking for? You can request we purchase it using the requests feature.


Read, download, cite, link, or translate a book or magazine. Go to Google Books. Search for the title, author, ISBN, or keywords. Not all books are free but can sort and filter for free ones.
