About Mrs. Brinkman

Rebecca Brinkman started learning to play the violin when she was five years old and began to pick up more instruments in 6th grade. Mrs. Brinkman now can play violin, clarinet/bass clarinet, tenor/alto saxophone, guitar, piano, ukulele, and make sounds on lots of others.

In December of 2014, Mrs. Brinkman graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education with an emphasis in Choral Music from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ.

She is currently working on her Masters of Music Education at the University of North Texas. Go Mean Green!

In 2015, Mrs. Brinkman moved to Texas and began teaching elementary music. She started at Rockenbaugh Elementary in 2017 and is very proud to be part of the Dragon community! Mrs. Brinkman and her husband have a daughter who attends Rockenbaugh's PreKindergarten program. They love to cook, go on walks, read books, and (of course) make music together!
