Championships is here! LET'S GO! All remaining Tuesday evening rehearsals will be in Island Park!
HEADING TO CHAMPIONSHIPS? BE SURE TO CHEER LOUDLY at the big moments in our show, it's really encouraging to the kids! (and it's OK to do that, even in the middle of a song, if something is GREAT!) State Championships tickets are available at the gate ($20/adult, $10/students & seniors), cash only. HERSHEY ACC TICKETS - can be ordered in advance at a discount! ($25/adults, $20/students&seniors, they cost $5 more per ticket at the gate.) They MUST be ordered by 10/31 at 6pm (I need to submit the order that night.) Checks to STBA - FILL OUT THIS FORM to order tickets by Saturday at 6!
NEW MERCH ORDER IS HAPPENING - FORMS DUE 11/10 - if you'd like to order STMB apparel, just in time for the holidays!
Tue Oct 27 - Rehearsal 6-8:30pm at Island Park (usual buses to and from rehearsal)
-unload/setup begins at 5:45! We'll leave the trailer loaded after but take your wind instrument home
Fri Oct 30 - Rehearsal at 1pm, Football at Wellsboro (there's no school today)
-12pm - bus pickup at Mansfield
-12:20pm - bus pickup at Liberty
-1pm - rehearsal at Island Park
-3:30pm - load trailer, dinner break
-5:00pm - leave for Wellsboro (we perform halftime)
-app. 10pm - return to schools North to South (not unloading trailer - take wind instruments home)
Sat Oct 31 - TOB State Championships - afternoon at Mifflin County
-8am - bus pickup at Mansfield, 8:20am - bus pickup in Liberty
-9-10am - quick rehearsal at Island Park (load trailer at 10)
-10:30am - LEAVE for Mifflin County, LUNCH (pack something, or available to buy) on arrrival
-12:30pm - lunch, warmup/setup
-3pm - PERFORMANCE (state championship!) then - load trailer!
-4pm - FULL AWARDS, then leave
-app. 6:30pm - return to schools, South to North. If you want to sign up with a parent from the show after the performance, you can, but you'll miss the full awards ceremony, and you'll need to have someone who is staying take care of your uniform OR take your uniform home with you and bring it back on Tuesday.

ALL BAND MEMBERS NEED MARCHING SHOES (front ensemble can use any plain black shoes, but all marching members should have plain flat black marching shoes.) CLICK THE LINK FOR PURCHASE OPTIONS! If you CAN'T get them, we have a limited number of used shoes - see Mr. Ruth this week to try on shoes! We want everyone in shoes by the first competition 9/19 - if you can't get them before then, wear the darkest sneakers you can until they arrive for all performances.
