Class overview
This class is geared for the average student with little to no music experience. It is my belief that it is very difficult to use technology for music without fundamental musical knowledge. This class will consist of basic music theory, composition, and music tech skills and cover a variety of genres of music, such as classical, film scoring, video game scoring, pop, and others based on student interest.

About me
I'm Mr. Nielson! I believe all students should have the opportunity to be a part of a group and collaborate with each other to work for a common goal through music. Band has always been a highlight in my personal journey, and I aim to lead students through the same passion of making music with others that my band directors have inspired in me. It is my wish that my students will continue their band careers outside of their primary school career. I stay involved in four, yes four, community bands and orchestras outside of the school.
