The Society of Agricultural Educators in Region 8, Inc. (SAER 8) will hold its 4th Regional Scientific Education Conference with the theme “Pursuing an expanded tertiary education equivalency and accreditation program-agriculture among technical vocational institutions in Eastern Visayas” on July 25-27, 2024 at the Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) - Hinunangan Campus, Hinunangan, Southern Leyte. This is in line with the fulfillment of its mandate to continuously revitalize agriculture through education. The conference will be attended by academic and research faculty, as well as graduate and undergraduate students in the colleges of agriculture and related fields of state universities and colleges (SUCs) in Region 8. Additionally, municipal agriculturists of local government units (LGUs) who are involved in agriculture education among farmers for resilient agricultural production are invited to participate.
