Welcome to 5th grade! The absolute BEST grade! My name is Mrs. Cassler and I will be your teacher this year. I grew up in Bondurant. After high school graduation I attended Augustana College in Rock Island, IL, where I earned a double major in Geography and Elementary Education. Then I attended Drake University to obtain my Masters in Teaching degree. 

The 2023-2024 school year will be my 20th year teaching. I have taught all 20 years here at Willowbrook and all in 5th grade! 

My husband, Dustin, is a high school social studies teacher at SEP. Our two daughters attend school in Bondurant. Our family enjoys fishing, biking, hiking, swimming, cheering for Notre Dame football, visiting new places, reading, and being outdoors.

This will be a year of firsts (learning new curriculum and meeting new classmates) and lasts (you will move on from Willowbrook, at the conclusion of fifth grade.) 

We are going to have an amazing year together, learning and growing!
