This year in SEL (social emotional learning) we will be focusing on three areas: K-4: emotions, recognizing them & working with them. 5-6: Self: self concept, self care, self compassion. 7-8: Values & Relationships: healthy relationships, boundaries, others perspectives.

This year in financial literacy we will be using age appropriate lessons to teach financial literacy basics. Some examples include: budgeting, saving, checkbooks, resumes, interviews. At the end of their time with me they will have an opportunity to visit a "market" to use they money earned from class.

My name is Ms. Jess or Mrs. Rich. I am a mom to two girls who currently attend Southeastern Academy. I graduated with a degree in Marriage & Family studies with an emphasis in Psychology. I enjoy baking and developing new skills. I am currently training for my first ever Dopey marathon weekend.
