How does my student reset their Student Portal?

How do I reset my Parent Portal account?

  • Please call the Parent Portal School Helpline at 631-730-1511

My child still needs a chromebook - how do they get one?

  • Please call the school's main office and they will assign you a Chromebook

My child is locked out of their Google Classroom account. What do they do?

  • Please email one of their teachers to ask them to submit a tech request for it to be reset, or, contact your building's lab assistant

How does my student reset their Naviance account (grades 8-12)?

  • Please contact their School Counselor

I need to sign the Google Consent form. Where do I find that?

Update My Information Questions:

I need to update my address, who do I call?

  • Please call our registration office at 631-730-1617

I need to update my phone number or email address, who do I call?

  • Please call your main office staff and they will be able to update that for you

I keep receiving phone calls from the district, but they have the wrong number. What do I do?

  • If you need to update your phone number, please call your main office staff. If you are receiving phone calls that you should not be getting, please call the registration office at 631-730-1617.

Food/Housing Assistance:

I would like to apply for Free and Reduced Lunch. How do I do that? Do I qualify?

My family lost our housing. We are now located in a shelter or are living with family members but I want my child to continue to attend school at South Country. What do I do?

Who do I contact if I have a question about my child's schedule at the high school or middle school?

How does my child get their working papers?

  • Please contact your School Principal or Assistant Principal. Each building principal is appointed as DASA Building Coordinators and oversee all investigations.

What is DASA?

  • DASA refers to New York State’s Dignity for All Students Act (The Dignity Act). This act seeks to provide the State’s public elementary and secondary school students with a safe and supportive environment free from discrimination, intimidation, taunting, harassment, and bullying on school property, a school bus and/or at a school function. My child saw someone post something on social media that I am concerned about. Who do I call?

  • Please call your building's Assistant Principal or Principal right away to report the information.

My child is interested in attending BOCES. What do they do?

  • Students may attend Boces in their junior or senior year of high school. Students should speak to their school counselor about filling out an application to apply. There are requirements students must meet to attend Boces, please see the course description guide for the most up to date Boces information and requirements. All Boces applications are due no later than March each year.
