SBJC Curriculum
We develop and implement academic curricula that is fully aligned to the New Jersey Student Learning Standards. The New Jersey Student Learning Standards include Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards, as well as nine K-12 standards for 21st Century Life and Careers, Comprehensive Health and Physical Education, English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Technology, Visual and Performing Arts, and World Languages.
English Language Arts
Our ELA curriculum is aligned with the New Jersey State Learning Standards and adapted specifically for our students, grades K through 12.
Math
Our Math curriculum is aligned with the New Jersey State Learning Standards and adapted specifically for our students, grades K through 11.
Science
Our Science curriculum is aligned with the New Jersey State Learning Standards and adapted specifically for our students, grades K through 11.
Social Studies
Our Social Studies curriculum is aligned with the New Jersey State Learning Standards and adapted specifically for our students, grades K through 11.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
SBJC implements a district-developed ABA curriculum that is aligned with the ABLLS assessment.
Physical Education
Our Physical Education and Health curricula are aligned with the New Jersey State Learning Standards and adapted specifically for our students, grades K through 12.
Visual & Performing Arts
Our Visual and Performing Arts curricula are aligned with the New Jersey State Learning Standards and adapted specifically for our students, grades Pre-K through 12.
Technology
Our Technology curriculum is aligned with the New Jersey State Learning Standards and adapted specifically for our students, grades K through 12.
