The Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Microelectronics (IAIM) is collaborating with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of South Alabama to host the IAIM Distinguished Lecture Series.
"Domain-Specific Architectures for AI: The Rise of Neural Processing Units," is presented by Dr. Ali Haidous from AMD.
The lecture will be on May 9th, 2025, from 2:00 -3:00 PM in Shelby Hall room 3104. Refreshments will be provided. Faculty and students are invited to join.

The 2025 Edge AI summer program will be held from May 26th - June 20th, 2025.The application deadline is April 18, 2025.
Program Eligibility
Must be a high school teacher in STEM
Must teach in Alabama, North Dakota, or Arkansas for the duration of the program
