Souplin (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the Pipely mobile game (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
If you have questions, contact us at support@souplin.com.
Note: this policy describes Pipely version 1.1.x, which includes Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Remote Config, and Google AdMob (banner and rewarded advertisements). Earlier 1.0.x versions did not include any advertising SDK.
Pipely does not require an account, login, or any personal information such as your name, email, address, or phone number.
We do collect a limited set of non-personal information automatically when you use the App:
Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics): - A random per-device identifier we generate locally on first launch - Platform (iOS or Android), OS version, device model class, app version, language/locale, country derived from IP - Aggregate gameplay events: level starts, level completions, perfect ratings earned, hints used, settings toggles, in-app navigation - A Firebase-managed app_instance_id used to deduplicate events
Crash Reporting (Google Firebase Crashlytics): - Stack traces and runtime state at the time of a crash, including device model, OS version, app version, and recent log breadcrumbs the App emits during gameplay - The same per-device identifier above (so crashes can be correlated with the player’s recent gameplay events)
Push Notifications (Google Firebase Cloud Messaging): - A Firebase Cloud Messaging registration token, only if the operating system grants Pipely permission to send notifications - Pipely v1 does not yet send push notifications; the token is reserved for future use, and you may revoke notification permission at any time in your device settings
Remote Configuration (Google Firebase Remote Config): - The App fetches a small JSON of gameplay parameters (for example, the default number of hints per level) from Google Firebase Remote Config - This fetch transmits the standard Firebase request metadata above; it does not collect any additional information about you
Advertising (Google AdMob): Pipely shows banner advertisements and optional rewarded video advertisements (which you may choose to watch to refill hints). To serve and measure these ads, Google AdMob may collect: - The advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) - Coarse, IP-based location (country/region) - Device information (model class, OS version, language) - Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, and whether a rewarded ad was completed)
On iOS, before the advertising identifier is used to track you across apps and websites, Pipely presents Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. If you decline, ads are non-personalized and the IDFA is not used to track you. On Android, you can reset or delete your Advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in your device settings. Rewarded ads are never shown unless you choose to watch one.
In-App Purchases: Pipely does not contain in-app purchases.
We do not collect contacts, photos, microphone audio, camera images, precise location, or health data.
We use the information described above to: - Operate, maintain, and improve gameplay, difficulty balance, and the player experience - Diagnose and fix crashes and bugs - Configure features remotely (for example, the default number of hints per level) - Send push notifications if you opt in and we later choose to use this channel - Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or security incidents - Comply with legal obligations
We also use the advertising identifier and related data described above to display advertisements (including personalized ads where you have consented), to measure ad performance, and to limit how often you see the same ad. We do not sell your information to third parties, and we do not use your data for any automated decision-making with legal effects.

Analytics events are retained according to Google Firebase’s default retention policy (currently 14 months for event data). Crash data is retained for 90 days. Aggregate, non-identifying statistics may be retained indefinitely. Locally stored game data (level progress, settings, hint counts) is removed when you uninstall the App.
Pipely is suitable for general audiences and is rated 4+ on the App Store and “Everyone” on Google Play. The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@souplin.com and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: - Access the information we hold about you (note: we hold only an opaque random identifier, not anything personally identifying) - Request correction or deletion of your information - Object to or restrict certain processing - Withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing - Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority
Because Pipely’s data is keyed only to a randomly generated Firebase instance ID and never to your real identity, the most effective way to delete it yourself is to uninstall the App or clear its data in the operating system settings — this resets the instance ID and severs the link with any prior analytics. You may also email support@souplin.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and we will delete the corresponding Crashlytics and Analytics records.
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA), including the right to know what we collect and the right to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. As described above we do not sell or share personal information, so no opt-out is required, but you may still contact us to exercise any other CCPA right.
We are based outside the European Economic Area. When information crosses borders, we rely on the safeguards offered by our service providers (Google, Apple) and on the legal basis of your consent or our legitimate interests. Where required by law, transfers from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, to which Google adheres as part of its Firebase Data Processing Terms.
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and encryption at rest provided by Google Firebase and Apple/Google’s platforms. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes — for example, introducing an advertising SDK — will also be announced in the App’s release notes for the affected version.
