Souplin (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the Blockoo mobile game (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
If you have questions, contact us at support@souplin.com.
Note: this policy describes Blockoo version 1.1.0 and later, which includes Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Google AdMob. Earlier versions (1.0.x) did not collect any data — see the changelog at the bottom of this page for the v1.0.0 policy text.
Blockoo does not require an account, login, or any personal information such as your name, email, address, or phone number.
We do collect a limited set of non-personal information automatically when you use the App:
Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics): - A random per-device identifier we generate locally on first launch - Platform (iOS or Android), OS version, device model class, app version, language/locale - Aggregate gameplay events: game starts, game overs, scores, line clears, combos, tutorial completion, settings toggles, ad interactions - A Firebase-managed app_instance_id used to deduplicate events
Crash Reporting (Google Firebase Crashlytics): - Stack traces and runtime state at the time of a crash, including device model, OS version, app version, and the recent log breadcrumbs the App emits during gameplay - The same per-device identifier above (so crashes can be correlated with the player’s recent gameplay events)
Advertising (Google AdMob + Google User Messaging Platform): - Apple’s Advertising Identifier (IDFA) or Google’s Advertising ID, only if you grant permission via the Apple App Tracking Transparency prompt (iOS) or your Google Ads preferences (Android) - Coarse information used to serve and measure ads: approximate location derived from IP address, device type, ad impression and click events - If you decline tracking permission, AdMob serves non-personalized ads only, and the advertising identifier is not collected - Google AdMob may collect additional information as described in its own privacy policy and partner-site policy linked below
In-App Purchases: Blockoo does not contain in-app purchases.
We do not collect contacts, photos, microphone audio, camera images, precise location, or health data.
We use the information described above to: - Operate, maintain, and improve gameplay, balance, and the player experience - Diagnose and fix crashes and bugs - Show advertisements (personalized when permitted, non-personalized otherwise) - Measure ad performance and prevent ad fraud - Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your information to third parties.
Blockoo is supported by advertising. On iOS 14.5 and later, the App will request your permission, via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework, before accessing the advertising identifier and tracking your activity across other companies’ apps and websites for personalized advertising. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized.
If you live in a region governed by GDPR (European Economic Area, UK, Switzerland) or analogous laws, the App displays a consent screen (Google’s User Messaging Platform) the first time it starts, allowing you to grant or refuse consent for personalized advertising before any ad loads.
You can reset your advertising identifier or limit ad tracking at any time in your device settings: - iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising - Android: Settings → Google → Ads

Analytics events are retained according to Google Firebase’s default retention policy (currently 14 months for event data). Crash data is retained for 90 days. Aggregate, non-identifying statistics may be retained indefinitely. Locally stored game data (best score, settings, progress) is removed when you uninstall the App.
Blockoo is suitable for general audiences and is rated 4+ on the App Store and “Everyone” on Google Play. The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@souplin.com and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: - Access the information we hold about you (note: we hold only an opaque random identifier, not anything personally identifying) - Request correction or deletion of your information - Object to or restrict certain processing - Withdraw consent for advertising personalization (use the device-level controls above; for in-app GDPR consent, uninstall and reinstall to re-trigger the consent screen) - Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, email support@souplin.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and, if possible, include the anonymous user identifier shown in the App’s Settings screen.
We are based outside the European Economic Area. When information crosses borders, we rely on the safeguards offered by our service providers (Google, Apple) and on the legal basis of your consent or our legitimate interests.
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and encryption at rest provided by Google Firebase and Apple/Google’s platforms. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will also be announced in the App.
