About

The Women's Symposium 3.0 is a special consortium of women presenters focusing on inside - outside wellness and careers. This is the third symposium presented at Souderton Area High School.

The symposium is designed to create an opportunity for Souderton Area High School students to be informed and inspired by accomplished women in our community. The participants will take part in conversations and interactive activities as women from a vast array of careers and experiences share their personal and career stories.

Goals for the Day

  • Provide leadership opportunities for students, whether they serve as committee members, ambassadors, or participants.

  • Teach students different ways to build confidence and balance their personal lives against the pressures they face in today's competitive world.

  • Expose students to future career and personal opportunities while giving them strategies and resources to overcome the barriers they may face.

  • Build and strengthen the student body community by helping students recognize the power of the individual.

  • Demonstrate the diversity in the presenters' stories and their willingness to share their expertise with our Souderton Area High School students.

  • Bring together alumni, family, and community members to celebrate the common threads that connect us.

  • Share strategies and experiences related to balancing careers and wellness.

  • Expose students to individuals from diverse backgrounds and learn from their stories, struggles, and successes.
