This program is designed for students who are interested in learning how a world language can enhance a career in a variety of fields, such as interpreting, linguistics, law, and international development. Students will visit the United Nations in New York City to learn about this international organization and career paths at the UN as well as visit a local university to learn about study abroad programs. Guest speakers will share information about their career paths and how they use language in their field. This program will be facilitated by Christine Yardley.
Please note this course will have an additional cost of $37 for the train fare to NYC. Students will purchase their own train ticket on the day of the trip
