All VA applicants must attend the mass shortlisting activity on the same day as the SIE audition day.

All materials will be provided. There is nothing to prepare or bring for this activity.

You will be released from SOTA after the activity. 

Shortlisting outcome will be released via email on the same day. If you are shortlisted, you will have to report back to SOTA to complete the SIE activities. 

Due to the short turnaround, you may want to have a break at places near SOTA, such as The Cathay, GRiD, or Plaza Singapura, after being released from the activity.  

You will be assessed for Composition, Imagination, and Manipulation of the medium.

No preparations required. 

All materials will be provided by SOTA. You are not required and may not use your personal art materials for this activity. 

You will present your portfolio and have a conversation about your artworks with a panel of Visual Arts teachers.

You will be grouped with other applicants and participate in conversations with the panel comprising the school’s Key Personnel.

No preparations required. The questionnaires have no right or wrong answers.
