• All VA applicants must attend the mass shortlisting activity on the same day as the SIE audition day.

• All materials will be provided. There is nothing to prepare or bring for this activity.

• You will be released from SOTA after the activity. 

• Shortlisting outcome will be released via email on the same day. If you are shortlisted, you will have to report back to SOTA to complete the SIE activities. 

• Due to the short turnaround, you may want to have a break at places near SOTA, such as The Cathay, GRiD, or Plaza Singapura, after being released from the activity.

• You will be assessed for Composition, Imagination, and Manipulation of the medium.

• No preparations required. 

• Key qualities that the interview panel looks for include a keen sense of observation, imagination, inspiration, and self-motivation.

• A group of applicants will participate in conversations with the interview panel comprising teachers from the academic faculties. 

• No preparations required. The questionnaires have no right or wrong answers.
