Important Dates

Indication of Interest Period

You may submit your application during this period so that you do not have to rush and submit your application during the actual application period. You may still apply during the actual application period if you missed the Indication of Interest period. 

• Sign up for a TA Portal account HERE 

• Log in to the TA Portal, and

• Submit your application

• You will be required to upload the art portfolio and supporting documents.

• You may apply for ONE (1) art form only.

PSLE applicants who previously created a TA Portal account during the DSA-Sec Exercise and wish to apply for SIE must first email us their full name and the email address used to create the account. The previous application must be archived before a new submission can be made. 

Apply Online

The PSLE Results will be released between 24 November and 26 November 2025. 

What you should do on this day

• Participate in S1 Posting (within 7 calendar days), and

• Check SOTA's website to see if the SIE application is open and if the art form you want is available

• Proceed to apply if the application is open and the art form is available

Application Closes

• The application will close at 10 am sharp. If you were in the middle of completing the application, you will be automatically logged off. 

• No further extension of the deadline will be provided. 

Shortlisting Outcome

• Release of shortlisting outcome via the TA Portal from 4 pm onwards.

• Log in to check the result and read the announcement for more information.  

Audition and Interview

• Shortlisted applicants must complete the SIE activities in person at SOTA. 

Outcome of SIE

• Applicants will be informed of the selection outcome via e-mail. 

• Please note that the School will not release any information explaining why an application is unsuccessful. 

Acceptance Form

• Applicants who have received a Confirmed Offer must submit the Acceptance Form. 

• The offer is considered void if there is no written response from the applicant by 10 am on the stipulated date indicated in the offer email. 

IMPORTANT: By accepting SOTA’s offer, the applicant will not be posted to another secondary school via the S1 Posting, as their submitted S1 school choices will be made void. For applicants who are eligible to take a Third Language, their Third Language options continue to be valid and will be processed based on their choices. Unsuccessful applicants will be posted to a secondary school based on their submitted school choices under the S1 Posting.
