Click above to listen to "My Funny Valentine" sung by Ella Fitzgerald. Jazz is a music genre that originated in the African American communities of New Orleans with its roots in blues and ragtime. Ella was referred to as the Queen of Jazz. She had a "horn-like" improvisational ability.

"Zin Zin Zin A Violin" is a lesson on instruments of the orchestra and teaches groups of musicians. As you listen to "Ode to Joy" by Beethoven, compare and contrast the different timbres (character of the sounds).
