The university's IT dept deleted my old website as it was built on archaic architecture.  What did they expect from an archaeologist? 

I've retired from teaching, so the pages about my classes, etc. that were useful to students are gone (although an archived version of my old website lives at the Internet Archive).  What remains is mostly self-promotion which, although tasteless, is generally truthful.
