​ Welcome back to another exciting and educational year at Marshall Elementary School Library! It is my goal for your child to become a life-long reader and to foster information literacy. I look forward to helping him or her become a critical thinker, enthusiastic reader, skillful researcher and ethical user of information. We hope that each student at Marshall will enjoy his or her library media center experience. We have a large selection of books, eBooks, databases, children’s periodicals and other media materials. These resources encompass many reading levels and are aligned with the curriculum. The Marshall Library is fully digital and offers over 6000 eBooks, audiobooks and online databases for students.

​The Marshall Digital Library is ALWAYS OPEN and available to use any day of the week! My asynchronous lessons are posted in my Canvas Course Page.

The library lesson is 50 minutes and includes read alouds, movement and extension activities. In addition, students will be given library time to make personal book selections. Please encourage your child to take care of our library media materials and to return them on time for more. If your child has a particular interest, have them ask me for assistance and recommendations. Students will be instructed how to select an eBook or audio book in library class and each student has a MackinVia backpack already set up. Their usernames and passwords are exactly the same as their district emails and passwords.
