Maths is a fundamental skill and by experiencing quality maths, our learners can better understand the world around them.
We support our learners to develop their mathematical knowledge to engage in purposeful everyday activities.
Our learners are exposed to a wide range of highly motivating, engaging maths-focused activities. Maths is delivered through structured sessions and incidental teaching to ensure that opportunities for maths learning are maximised.
Number, measurement, statistics, geometry, and probability are taught in all classes through high-quality teaching and interest based activities.
Maths is differentiated and each learner has individualised goals. We use a wide range of engaging materials such as Numicon (a specialised, adaptive resource) to enrich number and strand teaching through quality, interactive and well-planned maths lessons.
