STA Membership & Dues

Dues for 2025-2026

The dues are broken down as follows:
STA = $75.00
MTA = $573.00
NEA = $219.00
​Total = $867.00

The Somerset Teachers Association is comprised of the Somerset Teachers Association (STA), the Massachusetts Teachers Association (MTA) and the National Teachers Association (NEA). The association is composed of Unit A, teachers, and Unit B, content coordinators. 

You have the option of paying by payroll deduction or by check (in one lump sum). 

*Payroll deduction begins in October and ends in June. (Two deductions each month for a total of eighteen payments.)

$96.34 will be deducted monthly

*Check paying members have until the Friday before Thanksgiving to pay the entire amount in one lump sum.

Payroll deduction is the most popular way to pay your dues. Most of your colleagues have elected this method of dues payment.
