The Wisconsin Interscholastic Fishing Association (WIFA) is the organization that has made fishing a state recognized sport at the high school level. This non-profit organization started in 2015 and since then has added over 100 schools into WIFA. Through WIFA, fishing clubs get deals from big name companies such as Clam, Cabelas, Rapala, etc. in order to buy affordable equipment for kids to get into the sport of fishing and develop their love for the outdoors. They also organize scholarships for students as well as fundraising for all high school programs. Click on the WIFA logo to the right to reach their official website.
The website contains all information regarding fishing competitions, scholarships, state tournament, and much more!
