Amy Young

Welcome!

I am Amy Young-one of the two School Counselors at Somerset Middle School. I have worked in the Somerset School District since 2004. I went to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse for my undergraduate degree and then attended the University of Denver to receive my master's degree in Counseling Psychology.

I work with all of the grades in the Middle School and co-teach the 8th grade CAPS(Career, Academic, Personal Social Skills) class with Mrs. Rorabeck-the other school counselor. We also co-teach 5th, 6th, 7th-grade guidance classes monthly. We provide small group and individual counseling via self-referrals and teacher referrals. I am lucky to live in the Somerset School District where my four children are currently in all three of the buildings. You can reach me at (715) 247-4848 ext. 321 or ayoung@somerset.k12.wi.us
