AULL Education

"Equipped with his five senses, man explores the universe around him and calls the adventure Science." - Edwin Powell Hubble

Welcome to my personal teaching website!  In this website you will find everything you would want to know about the classes I teach, what we are doing in those classes, extracurriculars I am a part of, teaching philosophy I use, as well as information about myself in general.  Feel free to navigate the website as you wish!  This page focuses on my past life before Somerset.  I am so excited and proud to be a part of an amazing district like Somerset. Go Spartans!

Introductions:

My name is Hayley Aull (pronounced 'all') and I grew up in Appleton, Wisconsin. I attended the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities where I received my degree in kinesiology in 2020. I soon after began to substitute teach in Hayward, WI while I pursued my teaching license. I've always had a passion for science. I knew that if I was going to become an educator that was the subject mater I wanted to teach! In 2022 I accepted a teaching position at Somerset High School. I will be teaching physics, biology and physical science this year. Let's go discover together!

Contact Me:

With any questions, concerns, or things you want to share with me PLEASE do not hesitate to reach out to me! I would be happy to communicate with you on the subject matter. Below are the best ways to get a hold of me.

I consider myself efficient in communication so please feel free to reach out using the method above. I will do my best to respond on the same day to any inquiry sent within school hours. Any communications sent outside of those hours, please allow at least up to one school day for me to return a reply.

Getting to Know Me:

Spirit Squad

Growing up I was a gymnast but upon entering high school decided to give cheerleading a go. I fell in love with the sport! I'm a proud alumna of the Appleton North Performance Team, who took home state titles in 2016 and 2017. I have received the opportunity to compete at all levels including all-star, high school, and I even got to represent the maroon and gold at UCA nationals in 2018.

Admissions Ambassadors

One of the student organizations that I loved being apart of while at the U was the Admission's Ambassadors (AdAms for short). We are better known as the tour guides. That's right! I am highly skilled at walking backwards without tripping over myself or running into traffic all while giving facts and cracking some of the most cringe worthy jokes.

From Athlete to Coach

In addition to substitute teaching in Hayward, I also had the opportunity to work as coach to their cheer program. One of my favorite memories from coaching the Hurricanes  was the youth cheer camp we hosted In 2021 where participants got to learn a half time routine and cheer on the sidelines at one of the football games. As you might guess I get really into school spirit.

Inspired by the Magic

I have always been a huge kid at heart and have never quit given up my love for Disney.  I find it fitting that this picture was taken shortly after accepting my teaching job at Somerset where I found out I would be teaching biology and physical science while standing in front of the Tree of Life. I love learning about the engineering it takes to make the magic come alive at the Disney parks. Getting to visit each Disney park in the world once is on by bucket list.

Summer Time Hobbies

I have always grown up around lakes and find tranquility in being around water. In the summers one of my favorite things to do Is to continue to work on my wake surfing skills.
