Screening Sessions and Information

In accordance with federal regulations, state statutes and local board of education policy, Somers Public Schools assumes the responsibility for the location, identification and referral of all children requiring special education and/or related services of children residing in the town of Somers.

Do you have concerns about your child’s development?

If you have concerns in regard to your child's development at any time, you are encouraged to contact staff in order for us to determine eligibility for special education services.  Our PreK Team will conduct Information and Screening Sessions on Fridays as part of our Child Find obligation. Sessions will be held by appointment.  Please call (860) 749-2270 Ext. 3102.
