ABOUT THE INSTITUTE :

K. J. Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology (KJSIEIT) is one of the reputed engineering institute approved by AICTE, DTE and permanently affiliated to the University of Mumbai. It was established by the Somaiya Trust in the year 2001, at Sion campus in the heart of Mumbai city, Maharashtra, India. The institute provides quality engineering education in the modern fields of technology disciplines at UG level viz. Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science and PG in Artificial Intelligence. The institute aims to provide the necessary dynamism in the light of expanding knowledge and changing socio-economic requirements of the modern society.

KJSIEIT is an Autonomous institute further accredited till December 2026 with 'A' Grade by the National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) of India with the CGPA of 3.21 and three programs of the institute are accredited by National Board of Accreditation, India (NBA) till June 2025.
