Welcome to Lakeview!

The goal of this page is to provide all future kindergarten/begindergarten families with the information and tools needed for a successful transition to the Lakeview Kindergarten/begindergarten program. This page will be updated with important dates, deadlines, and information throughout the next few months.

If you are new to the district and interested in registering your child for kindergarten, please follow this link to the pre-enrollment form. Completing the form will give us general contact information, as well as ensure you are included in all Kindergarten/Begindergarten communication moving forward.

MEET THE PRINCIPAL

My name is Mrs. Holly Westlund. I've been a public educator for 10 years, this being my first year as Lakeview Elementary Principal. Previously I taught kindergarten for 4 years and was a Building Facilitator in the College Community School District for 5 years. I have absolutely loved getting to know the Lakeview staff, students and families and Lakeview truly feels like home.

I am so excited to be opening a 5th Preschool Program for the 23-24 school year! We will share more about the teacher and associate filling those roles when they are hired.

My husband and I have three daughters. Emma is 9, Evelynn is 3 and Eleanor is 1. We are expecting twins in July! So we are VERY busy and I love the fast pace of this job as well. In my free time I love to read, go shopping, spend time with family and friends and cheer on the Hawkeyes.
