Installing Group Packages on Ubuntu
Group packages are managed using personal package archives, so they can be installed using the regular Ubuntu package manager. To add the LaTeX packages archive type the following:
$> sudo add-apt-repository ppa:solidsuccs/latexpackages
$> sudo add-apt-repository ppa:solidsuccs/codes
$> sudo apt update
If this works correctly you can search for group packages using apt search as below.
$> apt search solidsuccs
solidsuccs-course/xenial,now 2017.10.04-1 amd64
Install course Latex class file
solidsuccs-presentation/xenial,now 2017.10.04-1 amd64
Install a beamer template for the Solids research group
solidsuccs-reader/xenial,now 2018.02.10-2 amd64 [installed]
Templated library of header files to do input file parsing
To install, use the regular apt install command
$> apt install solidsuccs-presentation
$> apt install solidsuccs-course
$> apt install solidsuccs-reader
