About Me

I grew up and was raised in Gonzales, CA in an immigrant farmer household. I graduated from Gonzales High School and earned my bachelor's in history at the University of California Davis. After college I worked as a substitute around Monterey County and earned my teaching credential through Cal State Teach. I began my teaching career at Jack Franscioni in Soledad teaching 6th grade for five years before moving to Main Street Middle School to teach history.
