Achievement Checklists are goal-based lists to help guide your engagement with the Tutoring Lab.
Want to improve your chances of getting a job, but aren't sure how to make it happen? Want to improve your GPA but feel adrift? Want to improve your communication skills but don't know where to start?
Achievement Checklists will help you navigate your way through workshops, worksheets, consultations and more. Simply choose a 'goal' you would like to focus on this year and complete the items that have been carefully selected to help you achieve it. If you complete the checklist, you will be awarded a Tutoring Lab certificate and MySolBridge badge which can also help you build your resume.
Signing up for a checklist is simple! All you need to do is complete and submit the sign-up form. After we receive your application we'll enable your use of the list which should appear in the My Checklist section on the platform within 48 hours. At this stage, when you complete required activities, those activities will automatically be 'checked' and you can track your progress throughout the year.
Please note that, since we are always striving to provide students with the best opportunities, our checklists are subject to change. If an item you completed is later removed, this will not affect your completion of the list. If we add additional events, we will always contact you first to find out whether you would like to switch over to the updated list. Items that are listed below in a future semester may only be made visible on MySolBridge or the website at a later date. If you have any questions or would like to discuss the lists, please feel free to contact the Writing Center Coordinator.
See our guides on how to schedule an appointment with a Tutoring Lab consultant and how to register and check in for workshops, to make sure that activities are marked as completed on the MySolBridge platform.
