QUALIFYING ROUND
QUALIFYING ROUND
The Qualifying Round is the first stage of the International Business Plan Competition (IBPC) and is conducted online. Teams from universities work collaboratively to analyze a business case provided by the IBPC Organizing Committee and develop innovative, practical solutions.
During this stage, teams independently research the case, identify key business challenges, and prepare their proposed recommendations within the designated submission period. All submissions are evaluated by a panel of academic and industry experts based on criteria such as problem analysis, creativity, feasibility, strategic thinking, and presentation quality.
The highest-performing teams will be invited to participate in the Final Round, which is held in person at SolBridge International School of Business in Daejeon, South Korea.
