Clermont Reading Department

WELCOME to the Clermont Reading Department! There are three reading specialists at Clermont.  Each of us works with students at every grade level.  We each work most closely with teachers at two of the grade levels. Mrs. Daubert works with kindergarten and first grade, Ms. Ball works with second and third grades, and Mrs. Halsey with fourth and fifth grades.  Please feel free to contact any one of us at any time with questions or concerns.  We are here to help. There are Title 1 paraprofessionals that are also part of our reading team - Mrs. Reigel,  Mrs. Martin, Mrs. Vaughan, Mrs. Bodenschatz and Mrs. Lapp.

SOLANCO READS!

We are excited to have had so many students participate in Solanco Reads this summer! Ms. Ball and Mrs. Daubert gave out tons of prizes. We awarded many sweatshirts, t-shirts and fleece blankets early in the school year. We are so proud of all of you!  Way to go, Clermont Scholars! We can't wait until next summer . . .

Visit this website to see charts of the grade level reading expectations.  It is our goal for all students to be reading at  or above their grade level.
