Instead of searching Web sites, it's better to search databases available through a program usable from every computer.
If we create very comprehensive databases, e.g. global databases, we can reduce redundancy very much.
When one finds on a Web page information about a service one might need, what does one do? Add it to the browser's bookmarks?
Irrespective of where we place such information in a personal / small database, we probably create a much larger number of labels for a certain piece of information than necessary, and we run the risk of placing this piece in a context that is less appropriate than one which many people would recommend.
My team are developing a program that would allow one to find more valuable information faster.
When one happens upon possibly useful information, one could link this piece of information to a personal database, so that one can retrieve it when one searches this database later, e.g. for this kind of information.
One advantage is that, instead of looking for information in many places (bookmarks, e-mail messages, facebook chats, Google Search etc.), one can use a single program to search comprehensive databases of highly valuable information.
People who use similar information can start conversations. This is one of the ways in which we increase a person's chances of finding valuable collaborators for all their activities.
