Special Olympics Ontario (SOO) is excited to announce the launch of our Hometown Games (HTG) program in partnership with Special Olympics Barrie. Hometown Games is an opportunity for athletes to compete and have fun in an all-inclusive environment!

Event Information

Track events will be 50m to 800m

Field events will be standing and running long jump and male and female shot put and javelin

Athletes may enter up to two track events and up to two field events

We'll hope to add a relay

Athletes should wear team colours

Please identify whether your athletes are F, FF or FFF (fast, faster, fastest) for the track start lists.

Arrival is 6pm for a 6:30 start on the track: 800 is first while we marshal the 100s. Schedule beyond that will depend on entries, with field events as drop in
