Dr. Sofer is a board certified gastroenterologist serving the West Los Angeles and surrounding areas since 2017. She has full medical privileges at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in addition to other hospitals in the Los Angeles area.  She received her medical degree from University of California -- Davis, finished her residency in internal medicine at University of Southern California and subsequently completed her fellowship in Gastroenterology at NYU Langone Hospital Long Island,  New York.

In addition to offering screening colonoscopies, Dr. Sofer has successfully helped patients with wide array of gastrointestinal conditions including inflammatory bowel disease, heartburn, indigestion and constipation.

Dr. Sofer is fluent in Farsi and Spanish.
