Welcome to the Sofar Sounds Photo Pass Toolkit! This page walks through the process of taking pictures at upcoming Sofar shows. Whether you are a new photographer looking to build your portfolio or just interested in gaining more photography experience, the Photo Pass Program provides an unpaid opportunity to take pictures at upcoming Sofar shows in your local city.
How Does the Photo Pass Program Work?
Stage 1
Pick a show to take pictures at
Fill out the form and review the Photographer Guidelines below
Wait to be confirmed for the show (could take up to 7 days). You will get an email when you are confirmed including next steps.
Shoot the show!
Submit your images (see Delivery Guidelines in the Photo Guidelines document below)
Choose 1 single show where you would like to take pictures
Copy the event URL you choose. You will need to include this in the form below

This 1 single show is meant as a test show to ensure we are aligned in expectations for you to take pictures at Sofar Shows. If you follow the guidelines (see below) and submit pictures correctly, you will move forward to be onboarded onto our platform to sign yourself up for paid shows.
Fill out the Photo Pass License Form
This form must be completed at least 7 days in advance of your selected show in order to properly submit a request. Submitting a request does not guarantee you will be accepted. Upon submiting the request, please wait for further instructions in your email.

What is the event URL?
This is the link to the page of the show that you want to take pictures at. Navigate through this page to select the city and event you want to take pictures at. Then, copy the link and paste it into the form when it is requested. The link might look similar to this: https://www.sofarsounds.com/events/22345 (Do not use this exact link)
I filled out the form, now what?
Once you filled out the form above, wait to get an email confirming you are signed up to shoot the show. Be mindful, It can take up to 7 days so make sure the show you signed up for is at least 7 days in advance.
Am I paid for this show?
The show you sign up for through the above form is unpaid.
I cannot login to submit my images
You do not need an account to submit images to Bynder. Simply drag and drop your selected images to the area below the login area. See the Delivery Guidelines in the Photographer Guidelines document for more details.
