We now have Student Leaders. Students applied for the position, interviewed with staff, and were selected. Each student selected signed a contract, along with their teacher and parent. Our jobs titles include:

• Morning greeters
• Announcers
• Bus Buddies
• Bus Leaders
• Lunchroom Helpers

Spring Fling

Dear Parents,

On Friday, April 12th, the Sodus Elementary will be celebrating “Spring Fling”. Each classroom will work on a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) related flower project. Classrooms will make flower(s) and a pot using recycled materials. It will be a time for the student’s creativity to grow! If you would like to donate any of the following items, please send them to school with your child as soon as possible. All items must be cleaned and dried.

• pipe cleaners
• tissue paper
• egg cartons
• straws
• cupcake liners
• plastic or paper cups
• scraps of wallpaper
• toilet paper or paper towel rolls
• packing peanuts
