Sodus CSD School-Based Food Pantry also known as The Pantry
Our school-based food pantry is a vital resource designed to support students and their families with essential food items. We believe that no child should go hungry, and our pantry is here to help ensure that every student has access to nutritious meals and/or snacks.
Fun Facts About Food Pantries:
Did you know? Food pantries across the country serve millions of families each year, providing essential groceries and household items to those in need.
Community Focused: Food pantries often rely on donations from local businesses, community members, and organizations. This creates a strong sense of community and allows everyone to play a part in helping others.
More Than Food: Many food pantries, including ours, also provide hygiene products, school supplies, and other essentials to help families meet their needs.
As of May, 2024, the Sodus CSD Food Pantry has proudly distributed nearly 11 tons of food to support our school community. At Sodus CSD, our food pantry is more than just a service; it's a way to show our commitment to the well-being of our students, staff and community. Whether you need a little extra help this week or want to get involved by donating, our pantry is here for you!
