Mission Statement
The mission of the Social Circle Middle/High School Media Center Program is to collaborate with teachers and ensure all students receive an equitable education through reading and technology in preparation for the future.
The mission is achieved by
Providing a diverse collection of resources that supports the curriculum and the different learning styles of the students.
Providing up-to-date print and non-print materials for teachers and students that will stimulate growth in knowledge and literary appreciation.
Providing resources for pleasurable reading.
Providing a safe and pleasant learning environment for students and faculty.
Promoting literacy events.
Collaborating with teachers to support the curriculum.
Including the number of books necessary to meet or exceed state standards.
