Ananya Lahiri

A DST INSPIRE faculty at the Chennai Mathematical Institute. She completed her Ph.D. from IIT Kanpur in 2012. She was also a Post Doctoral Fellow, at Chennai Mathematical Institute from July 2012 to August 2013 . Her research includes Statistical Signal Processing, Statistical Finance, Environmental Statistics.

Purvi Gupta

Purvi is currently a Hill Assistant Professor (postdoc) at Rutgers University, New Jersey. Prior to that, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Western Ontario, Canada. She got her Ph.D. in 2015 from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where she was advised by David Barrett. Prior to that she did her Master’s from IISc (supervised by Gautam Bharali) and Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Hons. from St. Stephen’s College.

She enjoys working on problems in several complex variables (multivariable complex analysis) that are topological/geometric in flavour. Convexity (of different types) is a recurring theme in her work.
