Project Manager

ENGINEERING TEAM

The Mechanical Team focuses on vehicle dynamics and works to enhance the safety and riding quality of our solar car. This is acquired through sophisticated designing of brakes, suspensions, steering system, wheels, tires, and hubs, using Finite Element Analysis (FEA). 

The Electrical Team plays a crucial role in running our car with solar energy. The team designs the electric circuit connecting the solar panels (PV array), MPPT, battery, BMS, motor, and controller, maximizing the energy efficiency. They also build a circuit that connects all the vehicle devices to create a completed solar car. 

The Aerodynamic Team models and experiments with solar car, and they create cars that can run the fastest. It is a key team that continues to communicate with other teams and enables its cars to run safer and faster. 

The Composite Material Team is one of the teams that has the greatest impact on the weight and safety of a vehicle. It is a team that studies almost all materials used in vehicles, such as materials used for internal structures such as linkage, as well as the upper, under, and canopy outside the vehicle. 

BUSINESS TEAM

The Business Team manages PR & Marketing, Finance, and Strategy. The team promotes SNU SOLO, recruits members, and seeks for various sponsors interested in our objectives and activities. Moreover, they manage the budget and accounting of the whole team for an effective asset management. They also contribute to preparing for all the process in Australia, making sure that every team member is taken care of, and we safely complete our journey. 

DESIGN TEAM

The Design team contributes to all the design required in the process, from logo to solar car design. Through extensive research and proposals, the team works to find the revolutionary design to convey our team’s message for each different circumstance.
