Improving and Restoring Human Mobility

Our primary research objective is to enhance the health, mobility, and independence of individuals with physical disabilities, as well as to improve human performance using wearable robots and movement science technology. We delve into a spectrum of topics, spanning from the biomechanics of human movement to the development of exoskeletons/exosuits and other wearables, with a particular emphasis on tackling the most challenging aspects of lower-limb exoskeleton research.

The Wearable Robotics Lab is situated within the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Seoul National University. However, we actively pursue interdisciplinary collaboration with experts from diverse backgrounds, including Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Kinesiology, Medical Sciences, Textiles, and more.
