My name is In-Chul Kim and I am a postdoctoral scholar in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences (CEOAS) at Oregon State University, working under the supervision of Dr. Merrick Haller. I graduated with a Ph.D. in the Zachry Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at Texas A&M University under the guidance of Dr. James M. Kaihatu.
My research centers on nearshore wave propagation, including developing a nonlinear frequency-domain model and simulating the model to include various physical phenomena such as wave breaking, ambient current, and sediment transport.Â
