I am a PhD student at the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa (Italy), supervised by Vittorio Giovannetti and co-supervised by Ludovico Lami.
In September 2026, I will join Caltech as an IQIM Postdoctoral Scholar.

My research focuses on Quantum Information, with a particular expertise in Continuous-Variable Systems, Quantum Learning Theory, and Quantum Shannon Theory. Recently, I've got passionate about research related to quantum advantage (stay tuned on my upcoming papers!). Overall, I am passionate about quantum information because I like solving practically motivated technological problems by applying elegant mathematics (e.g. matrix analysis, probability theory, group theory, semidefinite programming, ..) and numerical/programming tools.

I have been invited at Quantum Innovators 2026, an invitation-only workshop at IQC (University of Waterloo), bringing together early-career researchers making an impact in quantum information.
During summer 2026, I was a Google Student Researcher at Google Quantum AI, working with Tom O'Brien.

I received the Federico Tonielli Award, conferred annually to a single Italian PhD student in STEM for outstanding research excellence

I was admitted at the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa (SNS), possibly the top elite university in Italy. SNS grants full scholarships only to a select few students who pass a highly competitive admission process and maintain exceptional academic performance both at the University of Pisa and in additional SNS exams.
